Early Life and Education
Festus Ehimare was born on May 15, 1987, in Ajegunle-Lagos, Nigeria. He is the eighth child of Patrick Ehimare, a civil engineer and retired foreman for the Nigerian Ports Authority, and Elizabeth Ehimare, a trader. He grew up in a polygamous home with twelve siblings. Festus is an Esan descendent and a native of the state of Edo.
He completed his secondary school at Badia Ijora’s Cardoso High School before earning a B.Sc. in Entrepreneurship and Business Management from Nigeria’s National Open University.

He established G-Worldwide Entertainment in 2007 and became well-known in 2014 after signing Kiss Daniel (now known as Kizz Daniel), Sugarboy, and DJ Shabsy to his label. He received a nomination for the 2015 NEA Awards’ Record Executive of the Year category on June 12.
He received a nomination for Entertainment Executive of the Year at the 2017 NEA Awards on July 11. He oversaw the production of the studio albums New Era by Kiss Daniel and Believe by Sugarboy.

On April 8, 2022, Geezy and Daniel reached an out-of-court settlement. The video, which went viral under the hashtag #Peace&Love, showed Daniel and Geezy dancing to Daniel’s song “Oshe” and was posted on Kizz Daniel’s Instagram.
