Mack, and Paul Mpagi Sepuya.
Reed performed at the beginning of the show, and Okri read a poem that had been composed especially for it. The Serpentine Gallery’s creative director, Hans-Ulrich Obrist, stated that Grace is a fashion designer in addition to being a thinker, writer, and editor. She draws linkages across various disciplines, including music and the arts.
Grace was given the opportunity to work with Dior in the same year to update the fashion house’s New Look silhouette for its Resort 2020 collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri. Wales Bonner was named to the 2021 edition of the yearly Powerlist, establishing him as one of the most powerful individuals of African or African Caribbean background in the United Kingdom.
Wales Bonner has frequently worked with the sportswear company Adidas Originals to create seasonal offerings that update and perfect vintage styles. She created a limited-edition T-shirt in 2022 with renowned American artist Kerry James Marshall.
