Early Life and Education
Osiberu’s father, Oba Adewale Osiberu, was born in a royal dynasty and is the Elepe of Epe Sagamu.
Osiberu completed her secondary school in Ibadan before attending the University of Manchester to earn a degree in computer systems engineering.
She also attended Pan Atlantic University to study media and communications, where she graduated.

After graduating, Osiberu continued to work professionally as a software developer but ultimately decided to switch to filmmaking. She was listed by Pulse as one of the top ten women creating material for the Nigerian film industry in honor of Women’s History Month. In 2017, Osiberu founded Tribe85 Productions with the goal of “telling African stories to a global audience.”
Her work ethic, attention to detail, and creative drive were lauded by the interviewer during a BellaNaija interview. She was the star of the Nollywood Film Festival in Scotland in 2018.
Isoken, a movie Osiberu created and directed in 2017, is about the difficulties single professional women encounter in the face of familial pressure and romantic interracial relationships in contemporary Nigeria.
She was nominated for an Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Director and won best director at the 2018 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for her work as a filmmaker.
With the titular figure being portrayed as having feminism-related characteristics, the movie was also the focus of academic debates. The concept of the movie is designed to combat misogyny in Nigeria’s patriarchal society, according to Culture Custodian.
