Kemi Lala Akindoju was born on March 8, 1987, into a family of four children in Ondo State where she hails from and had her elementary school education.
She attended Queens College, Lagos for her secondary education where she obtained her Senior Secondary School Certificate.
She proceeded to study insurance at the prestigious University of Lagos and went on to receive a master’s degree from Pan-Atlantic University, where she studied media and communication.

In 2005, Lala Akindoju debuted as an actor in the stage version of “All I Want for Christmas.” She has since made appearances in over 70 theatre and film projects all over the world.
She was among the artists selected to participate in the Olympic Cultural Olympiad at the Theatre Royale Stratford East during the London 2012 Games.
She is a faculty member of the Lufodo Academy of Performing Arts (LAPA), where she teaches improvisational drama and serves as a facilitator.
