Early Life and EducationÂ
Keshinro Ololade was born on March 17, 1995, and raised in Bariga, an area in Lagos State. He received his basic and secondary schooling at Stockbridge College before moving on to the University of Lagos to get his Linguistics degree.Â
Later, he transferred to the National Open University to pursue an online degree in mass communication.

2012 marked the start of Lil Kesh musical career. When he began rapping in front of his coworkers at Bariga. Soon after, he dropped his debut single, “Lyrically,” which quickly became popular among Nigerian institutions.Â
Following this, Lil Kesh secured a deal with Yahoo Boy No Laptop Nation, also known as YBNL Nation (YBNL), a private record label established in 2012 by Olamide Adedeji. Kesh released his debut studio album, “YAGI” with this label, along with a number of popular singles including Shoki, Efejoku, Gbese, and others.Â
Lil Kesh then released the blockbuster song “Shoki” in 2014. Shoki made multiple music charts and launched him into the spotlight. He received numerous nominations and two victories for this musical’s staging.
He was a Best New Act nominee at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards in 2015. as a musician connected to the YBNL Nation. After his contract with YBNL expired in 2016, Lil Kesh founded his own record label, YAGI Records (an acronym for “Young And Getting It”), which is run by the marketing and event management firm Massive Management team.
Young And Getting It (Y.A.G.I), Lil Kesh’s debut studio album, was released on March 17 under YBNL Nation. Pheelz and Young John produced it. Phyno, Ycee, Wale, Patoranking, Adekunle Gold, Davido, Viktoh, Olamide, and Chinko Ekun contributed vocals. Rap and hip hop are included in it. Lyrically (2014), Efejoku (2015), Is it because I love You (2015), and Ibile (2016) are its four singles.
