Niphkeys was born in March in the 1990s and grew up in Alagbado part of Lagos State, Nigeria. He received both his primary and secondary schooling at one of Lagos’ top schools. He received his degree from the Federal University of Agriculture.

Niphkeys developed an interest in music while studying musical instruments and software with his brother, including the piano and fruity loops. He started playing the piano in 2010, then in 2016 he got into music production.
He, his younger brother, IBkissleek, and Tori Keeche are all members of the producer collective “The Tripsss.” The trio is responsible for the popular song “Mapariwo” by Zinoleesky.
For his production masterpiece on Zinoleesky’s song “Kilofeshe,” Niphkeys gained notoriety in 2020. The song has already received a tonne of radio play and millions of listens across different digital platforms.
