Pat Attah was born on March 17, 1976 in his state of origin, Anambra State the southeastern part of Nigeria. He has three older siblings and he is the last child of his parents.
Pat Attah completed his primary and secondary schooling in Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, where he also earned his West African Senior School Certificate and First School Leaving Certificate. He participated in stage productions and was an active member of the dramatic club at his secondary school, where he demonstrated his extraordinary talent for acting and scriptwriting.
Attah moved on to the University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State after completing his secondary schooling in Lagos. He did not, however, complete his schooling there.
He next moved to the Institute of Sport in Port Harcourt, where he eventually earned his degree in Sport Management in 1993. Attah spent his entire time in Port Harcourt as a college student attending acting auditions for various Nollywood productions.
