Early Life and EducationÂ
Tee Mac graduated with honors in economics from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland and from the University of Lausanne with a focus in classical music concert performance and philharmonic composition.
Throughout a successful career spanning more than 40 years, he founded a number of groups, including Tee Mac & Afro Collection in the 1970s.

In the late 1970s, Tee Mac and his European band Tee Mac United collaborated with Polydor International to make United, their debut LP.
He also worked in Hollywood, Los Angeles, as a composer for Cidi Croft Enterprise and then for Universal Films. He was the musical conductor and arranger for the well-known Welsh-Nigerian vocalist Shirley Bassey.
Tee Mac traveled widely, giving performances in the Far East, Latin America, Europe, North America, and South Africa.
Despite this, he continued to promote regional Nigerian initiatives, becoming one of the first members of the Classical Music Society of Nigeria, which later founded the Muson Centre, Nigeria’s premier music school.
When Tee Mac was elected president of the Musician Union of Nigeria PMAN in 2007, he put time and effort into developing the Nigerian entertainment industry.
In 2009, the Lagos State Government selected him to be the Nigerian head of the Motherland Group, an initiative that aims to establish a historical slave museum in Badagry.
