Udom Gabriel Emmanuel was born on July 11, 1966, into the family of Ette Gabriel Emmanuel Nkanang, a native of Awa Iman in Onna Local Government, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
The University of Lagos awarded Emmanuel a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1988. He belongs to the Nigerian Institute of Management as a Fellow. He has gone through the INSEAD Advanced Management Program in France.
He attended the School of Arts and Science in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, where he earned both an HSC and an Advanced Certificate of Basic Studies (CBS).
