Welcome to Legitexplore, today we bring to you the list of Top 10 World Most Liveable Cities in 2023. The most current list of the most livable cities for 2023 was recently released by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), with Vienna once again taking the top spot.
The EIU, a part of The Economist, carefully assessed 173 cities across the globe based on a number of important factors, including healthcare, education, stability, infrastructure, and environment.
Vienna has maintained its top spot on the EIU’s Global Liveability Index, earning praise for its strong infrastructure, thriving cultural scene, exceptional entertainment options, and top-notch healthcare and educational facilities.
This city, which has previously won the top rank on numerous occasions, was closely followed by Copenhagen in Denmark, which firmly established its second-place position. Melbourne and Sydney in Australia have significantly improved their ranks after falling in prior years, taking the third and fourth positions, respectively.
Three Canadian cities, Calgary, Vancouver, and Toronto, have established excellent positions this year, placing in the top 10. Two cities from Switzerland, Zurich and Geneva, were honoured for making the top 10, coming in at number six and number seven, respectively, with Calgary.
Osaka in Japan completes the top 10, benefiting from an increase in its culture and environment evaluations as a result of the loosening of Covid-related limitations.
